Hi Emil & Eddie,
We are starting to work with a company (SAM automation) who might become one of the biggest resellers for SolidCAM in future. We would be working with them in the Northern Part of India (Punjab & Haryana) which houses some of the big names in Manufacturing. It is also home to the OEM market of Indian auto companies.
SAM Automation is the largest CNC Machines Reseller in that region and commands a market share of almost 60%. They sell Mazak , HURCO & Lokesh (Indian Machine) in that region. Customer have great deal of respect to this company.
SAM Automation, after being very impressed with iMachining (they attended the event in Bangkok), has decided to launch iMachining 3D in that region by a live seminar of 4 hours. The seminar will be held at 2 main locations.
1. 29th October 2012 at Mohali in Chandigarh at the Tech Centre which houses a Brand New Hurco VM10 Machine
2. 30th October 2012 at Ludhiana in Punjab at their Tech Centre which houses a Lokesh VMC
The seminar will start with an introduction to SAM & will be followed by SolidCAM. After which iMachining will be presented. Once the presentation is done 2 parts will be cut in front of the audience (1 iMachining 2D & 1 iMachining 3D). This same pattern will be repeated at the second event too.
We expect 30-40 serious manufacturing companies to participate in each location. This would give us great impetus in the last quarter.
We are announcing SAM Automation as our Value added Reseller in that event. SAM Automation plans to hire 2 people for thier 2 centres who would look exclusively after SolidCAM business.
