SolidCAM Simulator
SolidCAM Simulator
The Most Advanced and Easy-to-Use Toolpath Simulation on the Market.
The SolidCAM Simulator is the most advanced and user-friendly toolpath simulation software available in the CAM industry. Built on over 30 years of experience, this new simulator is a complete rewrite of existing simulation modes, combining all previous capabilities into a single, powerful simulation environment.
Designed for maximum flexibility, the SolidCAM Simulator is a fully self-contained simulation system that runs independently. Once launched, it operates in parallel, allowing users to continue making changes in SolidCAM without interrupting the simulation process—significantly improving productivity and workflow efficiency.
The SolidCAM Simulator also allows multiple instances to run simultaneously, enabling side-by-side comparison of toolpaths for better analysis and optimization of machining strategies.
Simulation Themes
All previous simulation modes are supported through preconfigured Simulation Themes. These themes allow seamless switching at any stage during simulation. Users can also create and customize additional themes based on their workflow preferences, ensuring a personalized and efficient simulation experience.
Channel Synchronization Mode
The SolidCAM Simulator includes a Channel Synchronization Mode, offering fast and lightweight playback for machines with multiple channels. Users can simulate with or without solid verification, making it easier to:
- Review complete machining programs
- Evaluate different synchronization layouts
- Optimize multi-channel operations
This feature is ideal for quick validation during programming before performing full machine simulation.
Embedded SolidWorks Graphics & on-the-fly stock comparison
The SolidCAM Simulator supports both fly-out and embedded graphics within the SOLIDWORKS interface:
- Fly-out mode is ideal for multi-monitor or widescreen setups
- Embedded mode provides a seamless in-window experience
This ensures enhanced visualization and a smooth user interface for all machining simulations.
