SolidCAM for Research License Conditions
Eligibility:
- Available to Qualified Research Institutions, including: Universities, colleges, research labs, teaching hospitals, non-profits, and consortia.
- Not available for for-profit companies, technology incubators, accelerators, public libraries, maker spaces, or hobby centers.
- To obtain a SolidCAM Research License, you must already hold a Research license for SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, or Solid Edge (in general – CAD in Research version is a prerequisite).
Usage Restrictions:
- Strictly for non-commercial purposes, including: Academic research, student projects, and publication development.
- Not to be used for professional consulting, hardware production for resale, or any commercial services.
- Licenses are non-transferable and must be managed on institutional computers.
- Training is restricted to students; the general public cannot be trained under this license.
